Dwarf Technologies partners and distributors for Dwarfguard

There are a few different ways for using Dwarfguard. Some are more comfortable - like using Dwarfguard in the SaaS mode. Some are cheaper - like customer managing it's own installation. Naturally, for a standalone installation, one would just need a license but for a SaaS, there must be a provider.

And that is a difference between distributor and partner. Any party that is authorized to sell license for Dwarfguard qualifies as Distributor.

Any party that offers a support for Dwarfguard (or a spinoff rebranded product) is called Partner. A Partner may but does not have to offer SaaS service or additional value added services. A party providing SaaS service has to provide support to customers.

Why is that important to you as a customer?

It is important to know who does provide support to you and what is the support level being provided. The cheapest license may come with absolutely no support, whereas a SaaS always comes with some level of support. The SaaS support may differ with each partner and the prices may differ as well.
